*Stonebridge Manor is a stunning, picture perfect Victorian Reception manor that has been donated for the evening to help raise money for Cool Our Troops.

Rosita's at Dobson and Guadelupe in Mesa surprised us by initiating a fundraiser to benefit Cool Our Troops. The fundraiser started Aug. 1 and will run until our troops are cool. Their Tempe location at is doing the same. Patrons receive different colored 'chiles' based on their donation amount.

Green chile - $1 donation and you get a free cheese crisp
Red chile - $5 donation and you get free Rosita's special, $7.95 value
Gold chile - $10 donation and you get a free 'Create a Combo #2' Platinum chile - $20 donation and you get a free fajita combo

Aug. 8, We had a great time at the Alaska Bistro in Mesa. We gave away a lot of raffle prizes - sports tickets, CDs, skin care, haircare AND, the biggest prize of all - A trip north to Alaska, compliments of the 'Coolest' place in the valley, Alaska Bistro in Mesa on Sossaman and Baseline.
